Who are we
Fiberee is a manufacturer based in Cluj, Romania, where our team manages production directly. We work closely with the materials we use, from selecting the fiber through to the finished product.
We have been doing this for over two decades. What began as a commitment to preserving a textile craft that had nearly disappeared from Romania has grown into a supplier relationship with businesses across Europe and overseas. The product range has expanded significantly over that time, but the core of what we do has not changed: natural fibers, honest production, and a level of quality that holds up under scrutiny.
Our production is broad by design. The range of what we produce means we can support very different kinds of operations without compromising on the standards we hold across all of them. If your business works with natural fibers in any capacity, there is likely a way for us to work together.
What we believe
We believe the future of fashion starts at the source. That means taking seriously the materials we choose to work with, the standards we hold ourselves to, and the relationship between what something is made from and what it eventually becomes.
This is the reason we have invested steadily in certifications, social audits, and quality systems over fifteen years rather than treating them as optional additions to a cost structure. Accountability is built into how we operate, not bolted on afterwards.
Hemp is at the center of what we do. It is a fiber whose strength, breathability, and durability make it difficult to replace. Alongside it, we also work with linen, valued for its breathability and crisp texture, cotton, known for its softness and versatility, and merino wool, prized for its warmth and natural temperature regulation. Each material has its place, but hemp remains the fiber we return to most.
What we offer
Our range spans the full production process, from raw material through to finished goods. We work across multiple stages and formats, producing everything from yarns, twines, and ropes through to woven and knitted fabrics and finished garments. This breadth means we are rarely limited to a single type of request. Whether a business needs something close to the source or a fully finished product ready to sell, there is likely a way for us to support it.
Behind the blog
This exists because the conversations we have most often with buyers deserve more space than an email allows.
Which fiber works for which end use. Which twine holds up under repeated use, and which is better suited to light detailing. Which edging tape finishes a seam cleanly and which construction suits a specific application. Which fabric weight suits a structured bag and which drapes well enough for a garment. How finishing changes the way a material behaves in the hand and in production. What certification means in practice versus what it claims to mean. How working with a European manufacturer changes the operational picture for a business managing inventory. These are among the questions we hear most often, and this is where we will answer them properly.
